These Swittens are created from upcycled wool sweaters. They are fleece-lined and hand-sewn by a group of women in Evergreen, Colorado who make up our Evergreen Circle of volunteers. All of the proceeds go to support Friendship Bridge, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creating opportunities that empower women in Guatemala to build a better life.

Each pair of Swittens has been handcrafted from wool sweaters and turned into mittens, thus the name, Swittens (sweaters + mittens). One Switten has a textile swatch from Guatemala. When you place your hand into the Switten, you are symbolically touching the life of a Guatemalan woman by helping her improve her business, her life, and the life of her family.

Prior to the Switten production, the sweaters are washed, making them more dense and thus warmer. The patterns of the different sweaters combine to make each pair a unique creation. These Swittens are truly the warmest and softest you’ve ever worn!

Small Swittens fit a measure of 5.5" - 6.5" from the top of the middle finger to the wrist.

Care Hand wash your swittens in cold water and lay flat to dry.

Returns If you are not 100% satisfied with your Swittens, you can return the pair up to three days from the date you received it and either get a full refund or exchange the product for another one. Must be in the same condition you received it and in the original packaging. Please email handmade@friendshipbridge.org for a return process approval.
